Montenidoli Rosso di Toscana IGT


Montenidoli is located on the hill above San Gimignano, facing the Chianti Classico, in the heart of Tuscany. Its cavernous rock has filtered the water to form a large underground lake on which its woods, its vineyards, its olive trees float.

There are 200 hectares of forest that protects 27 of vineyards and 10 of olive trees, for eleven wines and an extra virgin olive oil.

Area: San Gimignano;

Blend: Sangiovese;

Winemaking: The Sangiovese grapes are macerated and fermented in vitrified concrete tanks, aged only partly in barriques and soon bottled to preserve all their vibrant youth. On the nose it has a nice field scent, the color is vermilion red, full and free-range in the mouth. In the aftertaste all the vigor of Sangiovese;

Matching: it is the classic wine for meat, from poultry to beef to pork. Cooking can take place on the grill, in the oven or in a pan. Excellent for steak, lamb, duck, pheasant;
