“Aetius” Vin Santo del Chianti DOC


Characteristic wine of the Tuscan tradition, obtained with the typical Chianti vines: Tuscan Trebbiano and Malvasia of Chianti. The carefully selected grapes in the vineyard are left to dry on the characteristic “cannicci” in the attics of the farm for four months. Subsequently they are pressed and left to ferment and refine in small oak barrels (“caratelli”) for at least four years. The wine has an amber yellow color with an ethereal and intense bouquet, with notes of raisins, dried figs and almonds, a harmonious and balanced flavour. It is a wine for the end of a meal or as an accompaniment to dry pastries and tarts, also excellent with medium-aged cheeses.
